This is my pre-writing writing space, where reading and ideas are first put onto page. I’m interested in the peculiar senses in which European ideas of memory, representation, time, and so on are transformed in contact with the experience of the Americas. That is, I’m interested in the productive instability of ideas across borders, viz., how the failure of a certain conceptual scheme gives birth to or allows us to catch a glimpse of another philosophical trajectory.
